Senior Festival 2017 was held on April 8, 2017, and drew more than a thousand seniors. RUKUN Senior Living organized this event together with ASLI Expo, with Confidence Adult Diapers as the main sponsor, along with support from other sponsors such as Prodia, Heavenly Blush, Siloam Hospital, Pharmaplus, and others.
RUKUN Senior Living remains committed to holding this Senior Festival to mark Indonesia's National Elderly Day, an important day in Indonesia observed every May 29 as a way to show care and appreciation for the elderly. 2017 marked the third year RUKUN Senior Living organized the Senior Festival.
Event Program
The event was free and open to the public. Opening with a group exercise session, seniors received goodie bags, souvenirs, and t-shirts from Confidence Adult Diapers. Running for half a day, the event was lively, featuring a series of seminars, talk shows, artist performances, and prize giveaways through quiz sessions. Participants stayed actively engaged throughout the entire program.
The excitement was further fueled by various competitions for senior participants, such as a fashion show and talent contests. The event was attended by senior communities from Bogor, Jakarta, Bekasi, and Bandung. Alongside the main program, free health check-ups were offered by sponsors, allowing senior visitors to consult at dedicated booths set up by the organizers. A food, souvenir, and handicraft bazaar from local SMEs also drew plenty of visitors.
Senior Festival 2017 was held at the Town Square & Convention Center, Darmawan Park, Jl. Babakan Madang No. 99, Sentul Selatan – Bogor.
